About Us

Greenchurch is an independent firm of solicitors, specialising in Court of Protection and private client services.

“We believe that all our clients deserve the best advice and excellent service.”

But no two clients are the same. No two lives are lived in the same way. So it is important that we understand our clients’ situation. It’s personal.

Many of our clients have a disability, or care for a person with a disability.

Other clients are planning for their own future.

It is important to us that each client is able to access quality legal advice that supports them to

  • make their own choices, and
  • safeguards their financial future

We believe that clients are right to expect transparency and fairness, when it comes to cost.

Sheree Green – Director

Sheree qualified as a solicitor in 1993. Following an undergraduate degree in chemistry at Oxford University, Sheree trained and worked as a teacher before attending the College of Law in Chester in 1991, where she qualified in law with first class honours. Sheree has focused on private client work throughout her career. Since the implementation of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Sheree has specialised in Court of Protection property and affairs matters. Sheree is a member of the Office of the Public Guardian’s panel of independent deputies.

Gill Browne – Professional deputy

Gill Browne has worked in Court of Protection and Probate for 28 years. With a background in finance, Gill brings an invaluable perspective to her role. Gill has been appointed as professional deputy by the court continuously since 2004 and is a former member of the Office of the Public Guardian’s panel of independent deputies. As a non-solicitor deputy, Gill is in the unique position of providing high-quality, cost-effective deputyship services both to individuals of high net worth, and to those with more limited resources.

Gill has a BSc from Open University(2012), which included the Diploma is Systems Practice.

Our team

Sheree and Gill are supported in their roles by our highly experienced team of case workers, who undertake the more routine and day to day work on our cases. Although they are not legally qualified, they have between 6 and 19 years of experience in deputyship work and are highly capable individuals, who are dedicated to working towards the best outcomes for our clients. We ensure that all staff have extensive and relevant training and work under the direct supervision of our director Sheree Green
